Winding Willow Farm is an owner-operated 15-acre property just 45 minutes outside of Vancouver, BC in the quiet acreage of the Township of Langley. Established and built in 2002, the farm has hosted a wide range of events from weddings, movies, commercials to TV series, such as “Cedar Cove”, “Homegrown Christmas” (2018) movie and “Wedding March 4” television series (Hallmark Channel)
Not only beautiful at first glance, but the farm has several authentic, unique and memorable details throughout the farm. From the vintage 1956 International red truck “Matilda”, a hand-crafted 40-foot tall windmill the antique wine barrels in the barn, to the thoughtfully designed upper rustic bar and lounge, are but a few details among many. Not to mention the 1946 Cockshutt tractor complete with hay wagon.
MEET THE OWNERS
Tim and Cyndi are the owners and visionaries behind Winding Willow Farm. Their love for all things antique and outdoors are the inspiration behind the details you’ll see throughout the farm. Married in 2002 at Winding Willow, Tim and Cyndi built the entire property into what it is today.
Tim, having had years of experience as a commercial developer and builder, uses his savvy on a day-to-day basis to continually maintain and create new details for the farm. You’ll often find him in his shop, tinkering with farm equipment, making his own repurposed light fixtures, or taking his grandkids along on tractor rides. All of the posts and beams of the barn were milled by Tim from trees that had wind fallen either on the property or from Tim & Cyndi’s cabin in the Cariboo.
Cyndi has years of experience as a fitness facility manager. Drawing from her love for interior design coupled with her previous experience as a professional painter, Cyndi has brought a unique, antique ambiance to the farmhouse. You can find her cozying up by the fire with a good book (or iPad) and a cup of tea, walking their dog Molly, or trying a new gluten-free baking treat in her kitchen.
